Behind the League
Built around the game.
Powered by the community.
Remington’s love for backgammon began in childhood, playing every weekend with a close group of friends. After moving to New York City in 2023, she was surprised by how few regular opportunities existed to play — especially for women and younger players.
She founded NYC Backgammon Club in April 2023 with just seven participants. Since then, it has grown into a thriving community of thousands of players gathering at weekly events. Today, Remington is focused on making backgammon more social, inclusive and welcoming in NYC and beyond.
Behind the League
A shared love of the game.
Building what comes next.
Bram is a creative partner who has built his career on helping ambitious brands and mission-driven organizations bring ideas to life through strategy, storytelling, design, photography, film and experiences.
Bram recently rediscovered backgammon and his deep dive into the game led him to Remington and her club. He was drawn to her ability to make the game feel fresh, social and genuinely cool — and to her mission to build community. Since then, Bram has helped bring the League to life, and he’s excited to see where they can take it next.
